About

Museumplein, also known as museum square, is home for the four notable museums in Amsterdam: Rijks museum, Van Gogh museum, Stedlijk museum and newly made Mocco museum. All museums are situated very close to each other so it makes it really easy for the art lovers to visit them all.

The green lawn in the middle of the square invites you to sit down, relax, have a picnic and enjoy the sun. It is also a very popular place for yoga and other sports games. When sitting on the lawn you face the beautiful building of Rijks museum, the view is indeed breathtaking.
