About

Marineterrein is a huge hit with locals, but rarely visited by tourists due to its hidden location and odd entrance through an inconspicuous door. This area provides some really unique sights, such as the full-size replica ‘pirate-style’ merchant ship of the Scheepvaartmuseum, over to the bizarre form of the Nemo Museum.

Location

Located not too far east of Central Station, Marineterrein can be accessed by a door around the east of its location on maps, and when closed due to overcrowding, you must follow the wall around to the side for a larger entrance.

Buy offical tickets

There is plenty of space for chilling on the grass or waterside, and ‘Pension Homeland’, a small hotel, high quality restaurant and bar with takeaway beers in the area. There is also a popup restaurant during the summer with Napolitan style pizzas.
