In summertime the outside area is transformed into a cosy sandy beach with beach chairs, colourful carpets and beam bags to relax on. On the weekends they have live musicians or DJs playing on the beach. Often this rolls out to become a big party. To make things even more cosy, they light an outdoor fireplace, so grab the marshmallows and start the scary stories!
In colder times Pleek invites everyone to the inside restaurant. Restaurant offers a delicious lunch and dinner menu. The atmosphere here is quite modern and industrial but still with a cosy feeling. In the middle of the restaurant, there is an indoor fireplace and comfy couches, where you can enjoy your drink and chat with your friends. Later in the evenings they clear out the tables on the first floor and the dancing begins!
You must take a free ferry to get there which is very enjoyable. Take the ferry direct to NDSM from the back of central station, it takes about 15 minutes and has amazing views of structures along the ij River.
For dinner with more people I would advice to reserve a table as it gets pretty crowded.
