About

Shelter is a go to place for anyone craving a well run and consistent immersive clubbing experience in the Amsterdam style. Generally playing techno and getting heavier towards the end of the night, it is likely exactly what you are looking for if you are after a true dark clubbing experience.

Door opening into Shelter Amsterdam, one of the best club.

Location

Take the free ferry across the iJ out the back of the station, it's an adventure but also very simple. A 2 minute walk then from the ferry which runs all day and night but expect it to only be arriving once every 30 minutes when you leave shelter in the morning. There are bars close to the club in the North if you want to have a drink but not a huge variety

Buy offical tickets

Shelter has a very varied crowd and has tons of local DJs playing Techno along with tech-house, breakbeat and more. In addition to big acts. Check out their website for line ups and also visit ticketswap.com for last minute & discounted tickets. Almost all venues in Amsterdam participate in Ticketswaps licensed ticket resale system so check there if you’re in for a last minute night out.

Shelter also has an amazing soundsystem and a dark atmopshere with lots of smoke and lighting.
